Vintage 1900's Rayo Driving lamp Automobile Head light lantern-Kerosene burner. This came to us in a collection out of farms and barns we find in our travels. This is a Rayo Driving Light for carriages and early motor cars made by the Bradley and Hubbard Mfg. Co. of Meriden CT. This unique headlamp is made from steel and has chrome beauty rings holding the lenses. There is a frosted clear lens facing front and a red lens facing the rear. It is in good shape for it's age with bit of age patina and minor rust. The mounts are intact and appear to have some aiming adjustment. Burner parts are in place with adjuster for the wick but there isn't a wick in it to test for more than movement. This is a neat collectible and with a bit of cleaning could be an amazing piece. Lamp measures 10-1/2" X 9" X 5". We don't have an original box for this lamp but we always package to get it safely and swiftly to you. Please see all pictures to help determine condition as they are also part of the description.
