You are purchasing one part as shown in the above picture. These are a nicely formed stamped steel seat for use on the Buddy L ride on pressed steel trucks. This is the version with the wider base for dump trucks as the legs are about 6.5" apart. Legs do have some flexibility to them so you can bend and straighten to make them fit gaps from about 6" to 7.5" across with a little modification. As with anything whether it is toy parts or full size car parts, some items may require some adjustment or fitting or slight modifications for use on your specific item.
